". . . be the school of first choice for all Lancaster Baptist Church families."

Our Strategic Vision: First Choice

First Choice serves as a compass for our future as a guiding document that points us toward our destination to be the school of “first choice” for all Lancaster Baptist Church families.

At the highest level, this strategic vision provides principal direction defined by four Aspirational Statements, all of which proceed from our commitments as articulated in our mission statement, core values, and expected school-wide learning outcomes. Our Aspirational Statements serve a purpose akin to the Psalmist's desire that God's word be a "lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path." These aspirations illuminate a future filled with excellence and achievement as we continue to be, “Committed to Christ . . . Committed to Excellence.”

There are several underlying themes that cut across and permeate all of the Aspirational Statements. These include a steadfast commitment to Christian values and identity, a focus on biblical worldview integration, an emphasis on Christ-like and patriotic leadership development, and a dedication to excellence in all we do.

As an expression of the vision developed in partnership with our faculty, staff, students, and parents, LBS will be a community recognized for...

where academic excellence and life-changing experiences ignite leadership potential that increases our students’ desire for wisdom, understanding of calling, dedication to nation and community, and preparation for Christian service;

where the Bible is not just a subject, but infuses every subject and provides the lens by which we view, understand, and participate in our culture;

where a wide variety of high quality and well balanced extracurricular programs provide students with every opportunity to grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man;

where the physical plant boosts student and staff morale, amplifies school spirit, emphasizes our biblical worldview, Christian faith, and patriotism, and enhances student learning;

where the value generated by and derived from a LBS experience is supported through a diversity of revenues, prudent management of our resources, and firm financial footing.
